Gerald Sharpe was born in New Jersey, but now lives in South Florida. Growing up in a dysfunctional family gave him the opportunity to be creative as a child. In fact, the seven characters of the What Lies Beneath The Bed - Series are the seven personalities that he created to keep him company while he was a young boy.

School was always a struggle for him and he was never really a reader. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Marketing degree and prior to writing the series, never read a complete book. Today, that is different!

He feels truly blessed and fortunate to write this series of books. With the support of his loving family, Gerald has made great strides in mastering his storytelling. He hopes these books will encourage children and adults, alike, to chase a dream or bring to reality what seems impossible.
